Phat Lad nature trail with Doi Suthep temple

An easy Monk trail with Chiang Mai most famous temples
Join-group trekking
This trekking is great to discover the jungle around the city of Chiang Mai, but also it's most famous and venerated temple: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (aka the Golden Temple) .

After our drive of about 45min to arrive at the top of the Suthep mountain, we will visit the Meo local village, from the Hmong hill tribe, before heading to the Doi Suthep temple! You will have enough time to visit this amazing Golden temple, and even get a panoramic view on Chiang Mai city.

We will then start our soft trail, for about 45m ( 3 km ), with a mild incline of moderate difficulty. Once we enter the trail, we will follow the trees wrapped in the customary orange cloth that monks in Thailand use to dress themselves ( this route was originally a Buddhist pilgrimage route. )

At the end of the trail, we will enjoy the quietness of the Wat Umong temple, that gives the temple its undeniable serene and peaceful atmosphere. You will able to visit the famous tunnels under the temple.
We will then drive you back to your hotel, for 2.00pm

2 pers mininum. For less, please contact us to check if we have a departure for your date. This trail is in really small group, about 6 people.
